Guess what!! Now there are MORE math contests!! This is terribly exciting, right?!?
The next contests have their registration deadline on Friday, February 20. Unfortunately, this is during Spring Break! Drat!
What this means is that you need to sign-up THIS WEEK! Plus, this time I will not register a student unless they pay FIRST. So, effectively, you must pay THIS week. And - sadly - they are more expensive!
Here is the information:
Euclid contest (Wednesday April 15) - miss Blocks B and A
- for grade 12's
- $14 (but students must pay $7)
- 10 questions (some answer only and some full solution)
- 2.5 hours
- 100 total marks
- calculators allowed
Fryer, Galois, and Hypatia contests (Thursday, April 16) - miss Block F
- for grade 9, 10, 11's
- $8 (but students must pay $4)
- 4 questions (some answer only and some full solution)
- 75 minutes
- 40 total marks
- calculators allowed
Please note that these contests contain NO multiple choice questions. They are - I think it is safe to say - more difficult that the contests that were written this week. Want to see some sample contests / questions? Click the button below
