This week's Student of the Week is Artour B.

Of course, Artour is known to the masses as Arteezy (RTZ?). And by writing that here (along with the word "dota") I will probably increase the views to this website by about 700%.

Being completely ignorant of computer games (my expertise ended somewhere between Galaga and Donkey Kong) I can't profess to being overly impressed by Artour's Dota skills. But what HAS impressed me is Artour's decision to remain in school and postpone his (I can't believe I'm writing this) professional gaming career. The fact that he has also decided to remain in Pre-Calculus 12 (a pretty darn difficult course) is even more admirable.

Apart from his impending fame and fortune, Artour has a lot going for him. He has always been a great guy. Kind, soft-spoken and blessed with a good sense of humour (though his "grade 8 doesn't matter bro" ---> "grade 9 doesn't matter bro" ---> "grade 10 doesn't matter bro" ---> "grade 11 doesn't matter bro" joke never struck me as that funny).


Good luck to you Artour. I guess as someone who preaches the value of hard work and persistence, I must acknowledge you for all the effort you have put in to perfecting your... uh... craft. Best of luck. Hope you win The International and make us all proud (actually, I'm proud of you regardless of whether you ever win another Dota match in your life).

I can`t even believe that teachers appreciate Artour not only as a student but also as a PC-gamers players. Thats kinda funny but very great and good. I think that you, Mr. Wadge, are really good person and teacher. Don`t blame Artour for skipping school lessons:) He does really good work and we all love him <3

It's certainly not meant to be. It's supposed to represent the fact that I still find it hard to believe someone can make $1000000's by playing e-games. But I am proud of Artour for doing so. I preach hard work and taking responsibility in my class and Artour is a walking example of both. Way to go RTZ!!

Also, love how my daily views go from 700+ to 36000+ when my website is linked from some reddit dota subgroup. You guys are hilarious. If you pay me enough I'll tell everyone what it was like to teach the immortal Arteezy for FOUR STRAIGHT YEARS!! Oh, the stories I could tell...
