This week's Student of the Week is Shahrzad S.
I am so proud! After two years of teaching Shahrzad, i was finally able to spell her name without looking it up! No idea why it took so long, SS. Sorry about that!
When I picture Shahrzad what pops into my mind is her giant, warm, beautiful smile. It's a true embodiment of her kind and friendly nature. I have never seen Shahrzad any way except poised, polite, and appreciative. Even after some tough Calculus tests she always thanks me for my time and wishes me a genuine good day.
It's no wonder, then, that Shahrzad is a delight to teach. She works hard. She never complains. She is eager to learn from her mistakes. She likes to laugh. That just about covers all my criteria for Outstanding Student.
I am so happy to have taught you the past two years Shahrzad. I am not sure what your plans are after you graduate (in LESS THAN TWO MONTHS!!) but I know that you have the discipline, motivation, and personality to be very successful. I wish you lots of luck!
Math problem goes viral because it includes a gay couple. Hopefully, this won't be such a big deal in a few more years (but kudos to the publisher for doing this)
I am your teacher. Obey me.
