BEFORE AFTER This week's Student of the Week (see below) has lost 70 pounds since graduating last June! Inspiring stuff! Looking good CW!! Congratulations!
The "official" video is even worse. I couldn't bring myself to post it on my blog. ...now that school has started, I don't have an extra 56:33 to spare For students who I DON'T teach this year, STILL attend KG, and want to receive texts... from me!19/9/2014 I'll send you reminders about Collab days, Pro-D's, assemblies, etc.
Plus, I'll say nice things to make you happy once in a while. Things like: "I'm really glad I got to teach you last year. And I'll miss you this year. Come visit please!!" This week's Student of the Week is Carson W.
Look at this sharp-dressed man! And this isn't a "dress up for the camera" sort of thing. Carson started wearing a tie (almost?) every day last year and he was sporting some pretty awesome looks. And now I hear he's working out like a mad-man and getting in tip-top shape. Nice job CW!! I only taught Carson once but he was a great student. Quiet, independent and intelligent. My favourite memory is when I realized I had access to an Xbox in my community (in the "common room"). I was telling Carson's class and joking about "now we can meet online to play [some game I can't remember the name of]". The next day Carson showed up with a controller and a couple of games for me to try out. NEW games for me! Well, my gaming career was over before it started ("my" Xbox was some ancient version which none of the games worked on) but I sure appreciated Carson's kindness. Of course, I also remember Carson's INCREDIBLE Promposal. Best ever! Way to be be creative... and romantic. LOVE IT!! Not sure what you are up to these days Carson (someone let me know) but I know you are "dressed for success". Good luck to you! |
