It's a bit intense but if we can get this done we will be "Home-Free" for term 3. Will be able to go slow and still have lots of time to review for the final exam. Yay! Final exam!
This week's student of the week is Stefan Z.
What a great guy Stefan Z is! Always so polite and friendly. Hard-worker. Committed to his own success. Enthusiastic. And creative too!
Us KG teachers will ALWAYS remember Stefan's grade 10 MYP project. Especially Mr. Karmali. I think Stefan almost flooded out the gymnasium!! But his final product was pretty darn impressive.
And then this year, we find out that he has been programming the lights for Halloween... on B.C. Place!! Wow!
(sadly, I missed his Christmas light display, but i heard that was great too)
Stefan has a clear vision for what he wants to do in the future and - with his great work-ethic, determination and impressive talent - I have no doubt that he will be successful.
Thanks for being such an easy, yet rewarding, student to teach, Stefan. I wish you continued success after your KG days are over...
↑ Much easier than teaching Math
Thanks for sending to me, Mel Z!!
And anyone who comes to tell me that "Mariah Carey's version is better" automatically fails the course!
A small, but enthusiastic group, made their way to Van Dusen Gardens on Thursday night to enjoy the lights and festive spirit. Highlights included:
Stay tuned for the next event (or, as Moe would say, "Journey #2") coming sometime in February.
I am your teacher. Obey me.
