I brought my PreCalculus 11 students' Parabola Photographs projects home to mark this weekend. Most were in my bag but a few were just on the car seat. I forgot to bring these ones in. Later, Zan took the car out and - in an attempt to be helpful - picked up the projects off the car seat to bring in.
I was with Simone inside the house, looking out the window. "Oh, look Simone! Mommy's home. Here comes Mommy!". Simone was waddling over to the window and I was watching her closely. Then I looked back out the window... just in time to see Zan throw her bags of groceries on the ground and take off down the street. What?!!??!
She was gone a long time... five minutes at least! And when she finally reappeared, she gave me the bad news: the strong wind (did you notice how strong the wind was on Friday?) had blown two students' projects down the street. And (here's the unfortunate part) she only managed to catch ONE. Some random stranger helped her chase after the other one... but no luck.
So one of you grade 11's will have to redo your project (hahaha! joking). I'll let you know next day which one of you has lost your project forever (SORRY!! SORRY!!). But look at the bright side: you will have made someone very, very happy. Imagine being the lucky person that FINDS your parabola project. Something to keep and treasure forever!!
