I'll be wearing it with pride tomorrow night to the Grad Festivities!
Check out what my wife gave me for Father's Day. I guess she knows how special this year's grads are to me and she wanted to help me remember them (as if I'd forget!).

Who is the guy looking so bored (Edison?)
What is Aby laughing at (or is she laughing at all)? And what's with the tongue Ayla? So many questions here... My Pre-Calculus 12 students had a very different project for term 3 this year: do anything you want as long as you are proud of it.
So many amazing things were submitted and you will find many of them in the blog postings below (and above). There were music performances (Darren, Joseph, Molly, Nour, Albie, Tyson), knitting / sewing / handiwork (Lu, Shermin, Mina, Sara), cooking and baking (Arian, Matin, Stefan A, Edward). There were people who won video game competitions (Artour), attained video game excellence (Nikola Mili), and actually created their own video game (Nikola Mine). So many incredible things were produced: paintings (see below), slide shows (you'll see one on Monday - it's awesome - and the other one you will never see but boy did it ever make me cry!), photo compilations (Shali and Jenny), movies... even an entire book (can't wait to read it Dolores!!). Tutoring was done, weight was lost, friends were supported, dances were performed, jobs were found, hikes were completed, bikes were ridden, soccer balls were juggled (juggling balls were also juggled), football teams were joined (and were very successful!), translation / essay-writing assistance was given, family trips were planned, lagoon times were crushed... You surpassed my expectations and I am very proud of each one of you who submitted something. I hope that you authentically had an experience of being proud of yourself. It is truly a magical feeling! I'll be watching for this guy during the World Cup, Faheem! Joseph composed a song for the piano. It's fantastic! Probably a little slower than you intended J.K. (sorry) and there are a few mistake (sorry again) but it's a beautiful piece! I KNOW they did a great job because YOU are a GREAT person!! ...but Nikola is proud of it. Well done (I guess) Nikola!! |
