Well, so much for the first week of school. Almost finished my least favorite days of the whole year (the first 2 classes of each block). One more day of blah, blah, blah (expectations, rules, letters to parents, etc) and then I'm home free for the rest of the year. TOO MUCH TALKING (by me)!!
I'm really happy with all my classes. All you student-folk seem great (well, I already know the grade elevens ARE great but it seems like an excellent group of grade 8's too!). I'm anticipating another fun year, surrounded by awesome teenagers!!
Today was the big "REVEAL" of the Flipped Classroom I am going to try with the grade 11 classes. I feel like a nervous new father. Hope it works well. Make sure to save up your concerns / complaints / ideas to give me LATER (I really don't want to hear them for at least a week. That would be like calling my newborn baby "ugly". Not nice!). Feel free to send praise and love though. I'm always open to that...
