I have taught Adam for a good many years now. He's always been a fairly quiet guy; doesn't attract a lot of attention to himself. So much so, in fact, that I honestly can't remember whether I have taught Adam the past three or four years (sorry Adam).
For the most part, Adam has worked hard in my class. That hasn't been true EVERY year however. It cracked me up when Adam told me, early in his grade 12 year: "Oh, Mr. Wadge, grade 11 never happened". Happily, grade 12 IS happening and is happening successfully. Nice job, AT!!
This story demonstrates a common trait of Adam. He doesn't say much but when he DOES talk he often has something amusing to say. He seems to always be up-to-date on the various jokes, stories and (good-natured) insults that make their rounds throughout KG. Thus, he is a valuable resource to me (to stay "in the loop").
I have enjoyed seeing Adam's participation in Moe's and Bijan's various movie projects. This guy is a good actor. He really commits to his role and is very believable. Mind you - since the only movies Moe and Bijan make are mob movies - I have only seen Adam in a very narrow range of characters. I'm hoping for a romantic comedy for their next effort. Adam could be the sensitive boyfriend.
I'm really proud of you for working so hard this year, Adam. Keep it up! I hope your grade 12 year ends well and I wish you good luck in the future!
