CJ is one of the poor kids who had me as their Math Tech teacher in grade 9 (me - as a Tech teacher?! hahaha!). And I have taught her every year since. PLUS - she was my CS student in grade 11. Does this mean that I have taught her 5 times?!?! Confusing!
CJ had her CS block when I had my Prep block. In other words, it was just me and Christina (and a mountain of marking). As such, we had lots of time to hang out and talk. It was great! So much fun! Lots of good stories and big laughs. I miss those CS blocks this year. But at least I still get to see her (every Block G). What about next year, when I don't get to see her at all (sob! sob!).
I think we are all pretty clear that CJ is a VERY HARD worker. She always does her best and she strives for complete understanding in all her classes. I love that about her! But what some of you may NOT know is that Christina has a wicked sense of humour. And she is a very caring person. And she is habitually late. And she is a great skier. And she speaks German. She is a woman of many talents... and a few surprises!
With her tremendous work ethic and big goals I know that Christina will be successful in the future. I wish you nothing but the best, CJ. I know that all your hard work will be rewarded. I hope that you can forgive me for all the teasing you have endured from me over the years. As my dad always used to say to my sisters (when I drove them to tears): "you only tease the people you love". Truer words were never spoken. I love everything about you CJ! You are simply wonderful!
